AI Notice

Regional Security Group ("we," "our," or "us") uses artificial intelligence (AI) features on this website to help visitors learn about our services and find relevant information. This AI Notice explains what AI features are available, how they work, what data they process, and the limits of their use. This notice is provided in addition to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle personal information generally.

Our AI features include "Odin," a conversational chat assistant, and "ODIN Search," an AI-powered search tool. Both were developed in-house by the Regional Security Group team.

Odin Chat Assistant: When you open the chat widget, you can ask questions about our security services, coverage areas, and best practices. Odin responds using a knowledge base of information about Regional Security Group, supplemented by general web context for industry education. Your messages and Odin's replies are retained for the duration of your browser session so the conversation can continue naturally.

ODIN Search: The search tool answers questions about our services and points you to relevant pages. It uses the same knowledge base to produce concise, site-specific answers.

In both features, your input is sent to our backend and processed by a third-party large language model provider to generate a response.

When you use our AI features, we process the following:

• Your Inputs: The text you type into the chat or search box, including questions and any details you share.
• Page Context: The page you are currently viewing, so Odin can answer questions about that page.
• Conversation History: Your prior messages within the same browser session, used to maintain conversational context.

If you choose to submit a quote request through the chat lead form, the information you provide (name, company, email, phone, and message) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and retained as a contact submission.

We do not use your conversations, search queries, or personal information to train our own AI models. Inputs are processed by our third-party AI provider solely to generate a response for your current session. We do not publish or share your AI inputs with third parties for their independent use.

Responses generated by Odin and ODIN Search are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional security advice, legal advice, or a security assessment for your specific facility or situation. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.

Chat and search inputs are held in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit and are cleared when you close the browser tab. We do not permanently store the full text of your AI conversations on our servers, except where you submit a quote request — in which case the relevant conversation context is included with your submission so our team can follow up effectively.

We may retain anonymized or aggregated usage data (such as the number of conversations started) for service improvement, in a form that does not identify you.

Our AI features rely on third-party large language model providers. When you interact with Odin or ODIN Search, your inputs are transmitted to these providers for processing. We select providers that offer appropriate data handling commitments. Your inputs are also subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practices for the purpose of generating the response.

AI models can produce incorrect or misleading information. While we ground responses in our knowledge base, you should not rely solely on AI output for important decisions. Always confirm material details with our team. We are not liable for actions taken based solely on AI-generated responses.

Using our AI features is optional. You are not required to interact with Odin or ODIN Search to use this website or to request our services. You can contact us directly by phone or email at any time, and you can clear your chat history by closing your browser tab.

If you have submitted personal information through a chat lead form and wish to have it deleted, you may request deletion as described in the "Your Privacy Rights" section of our Privacy Policy.

Our AI features are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly process personal data from children through these features. If you believe a child has provided us with information via an AI feature, please contact us so we can delete it.

If you are located outside the United States, your AI inputs are transmitted to and processed in the United States by us and our AI providers. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers from the EEA or UK. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

We may update this AI Notice as our AI features evolve or as laws and best practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our AI features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
